I thought it would be useful to link to various stories with coverage of the first day of The 2012 Canadian Telecom Summit.
- Globe and Mail: Canada on track to pass 100-per-cent wireless penetration rate
- Financial Post: Rogers eyes new services to reboot revenue growth
- itWorld Canada: A plea to improve digital literacy
- Mobile Syrup: Rogers, CWTA
- Canadian Press: National standards for cellphone contracts to benefit consumers: wireless group
It was a great launch with a wonderful array of diverse and dynamic speakers, topical areas of discussion and an energized audience.
There are two more days to go; Tuesday includes an address by Industry Minister Christian Paradis.
It looks like Rogers is rapidly diversifying it’s revenue streams by going into markets that aren’t directly in line with their core businesses.
Hopefully it doesn’t dilute what they’re good at in the long term.
