{"id":610,"date":"2008-03-20T06:45:00","date_gmt":"2008-03-20T06:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mhgoldberg.com\/blog\/?p=610"},"modified":"2017-01-25T10:38:14","modified_gmt":"2017-01-25T15:38:14","slug":"bt-sources-more-strategically","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mhgoldberg.com\/blog\/?p=610","title":{"rendered":"BT sources more strategically"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this week, Tech Mahindra and British Telecom signed another <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techmahindra.com\/home\/PressReleases1.aspx?Id=52\">strategic sourcing agreement<\/a> valued at $350M over 5 years, under which BT will be provided with application maintenance and support for business critical BSS and OSS platforms.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/mhgoldberg.com\/blog\/?p=642\">I wrote<\/a> last month, Tech Mahindra and BT have a long history of strategic sourcing projects.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic sourcing is the theme of a session being led by John Chang of PricewaterhouseCoopers on Monday June 16 at <a style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.telecomsummit.com\/\"><strong>The Canadian Telecom Summit<\/strong><\/a>. In addition, CP Gurnani, the international operations president of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techmahindra.com\/index.aspx\">Tech Mahindra<\/a>, will be speaking in a session with Clive Selley, the CIO of BT Wholesale to end the day on June 17.
