To that end, there is an open <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/983S6W8\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">call for speaker proposals<\/a>, with a deadline of October 10 &#8211; just 2 months from now. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Session content should not be promotional in nature and should remain unbiased with respect to any mention of manufacturers and products.<\/p>\n<p>The following criteria will be used by STAC 2023 conference planners and the STAC Steering Committee when reviewing speaker proposals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevance to the conference program themes and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Innovation and fresh insights<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and expertise of the speaker<\/li>\n<li>Research-based content where appropriate or relevant<\/li>\n<li>Learning outcomes\/audience engagement<\/li>\n<li>Previous speaking experience<\/li>\n<li>Diversity of speaker background, experiences, perspectives, and ideas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I have reviewed a number of sessions from the past 2 years; you can get an idea of the kinds of sessions by <a href=\"https:\/\/mhgoldberg.com\/blog\/?s=stac\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">searching with a keyword &#8220;STAC&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Submit your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/983S6W8\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">speaking proposal by October 10<\/a>.
