The embedded cards can also access TELUS&#8217; 1X network covering areas with 94% of the Canadian population.<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px 0px 0px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/i.dell.com\/images\/ca\/segments\/gen\/wireless\/mobile_telus1.jpg\" alt=\"TELUS\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dell offers its <a href=\"http:\/\/www1.ca.dell.com\/content\/topics\/global.aspx\/solutions\/en\/wireless_mobro_products?c=ca&amp;cs=CABSDT1&amp;l=en&amp;s=bsd&amp;%7Esection=002\">HyperConnect<\/a> service in the US through Verizon, Sprint and Cingular and Dell <a href=\"http:\/\/www1.ca.dell.com\/content\/topics\/global.aspx\/solutions\/en\/wireless_mobro_products?c=ca&amp;cs=CABSDT1&amp;l=en&amp;s=bsd&amp;%7Esection=005\">provides a comparison<\/a> of the three.<\/p>\n<p>For global roaming, the Cingular version leverages GSM\/EDGE standards. TELUS offers US roaming which operates at 1X speeds.<\/p>\n<p>Interesting that <a href=\"https:\/\/mhgoldberg.com\/blog\/?p=1233\">T-Mobile<\/a>, with its network of WiFi hotspots and its mobile data network, does not have an agreement with Dell.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement to embed a TELUS wireless card in Dell business-grade machines follows a <a href=\"http:\/\/promo.telus.com\/tm\/06\/q3\/highspeed\/?BAC-cs06q3HSpeed&amp;link=flames\">TELUS promotion<\/a> that provides a free Dell desktop computer to TELUS residential high speed internet subscribers when they subscribe to 3 year plans.
