John leads an executive advisory firm called <a href=\"http:\/\/j.mp\/2siZm6k\" target=\"_blank\">Thinkedge<\/a>, providing thought leadership and hands-on operational expertise to help technology-based companies accelerate their growth and drive business excellence. <\/p>\n<p>He was joined on the panel by:<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;\u2022&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/j.mp\/2siA2gu\" target=\"_blank\">Shubh Agarwal<\/a>, SVP Strategic Marketing, Metaswitch Networks;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;\u2022&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/j.mp\/2siPzgl\" target=\"_blank\">Ibrahim Gedeon<\/a>, Chief Technology Officer, TELUS;<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;\u2022&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/j.mp\/2siLLvJ\" target=\"_blank\">Brenda Herold<\/a>, GM Software Defined Infrastructure, Wind River Systems; and<br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;\u2022&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/j.mp\/2sj3jrt\" target=\"_blank\">Ashley Stephenson<\/a>, CEO, Corero Network Security.<\/p>\n<p>It is one thing to innovate in the network, it is an additional challenge to do so in the face of threats of cyber attacks, such as DDoS. To what extent can telecom service providers offer cyber defense as a service?
